Room Page Order

Room size, bed setup, and cancellation details moved into the order guests ask for them.

Calder Rooms runs twelve rooms above a working harbour. The room pages had every answer, just not in the order guests looked for them.

Room page review, three weeks

Overview

What three weeks documented

We read the enquiry inbox before we read the room pages. The questions guests actually asked set the order: room fit first, bed and bathroom next, breakfast and cancellation last. Every page now follows that sequence, and the template we left behind keeps new rooms in line.

The Evidence

The annotated record

Printed page layouts marked up in pencil with circles and a sticky flag on a desk

Room page sheets with our review annotations, grouped by guest question.

Detail Groups

Room size and fit, bed and bathroom, view and noise, breakfast, and cancellation. Five groups, one fixed order, every room page.

What We Did Not Measure

Bookings, conversion, and cancellation rates sat outside this review. Those belong to live booking data, so we left them out.

“The new order reads the way our front desk talks. Room fit first, bed and bathroom next, cancellation last.”
